Terms of sale

NextWatch Pro subscription purchased from Kovo Player. Last updated: October 17, 2026.

This English translation is provided for convenience; the French version prevails.

1. Purpose

These terms of sale apply to the NextWatch Pro subscription purchased online from the Kovo Player macOS app, on the secure payment page opened by the app. This subscription gives access to playback and to the Pro features of Kovo Player. They supplement the NextWatch terms of use.

A subscription purchased in the App Store or in Google Play is sold by Apple or Google under their own terms (payment, renewal, cancellation, refunds); these terms of sale do not apply to it.

In case of conflict, these terms of sale prevail over the NextWatch terms of use for the paid subscription. For it, the clauses of those terms on the exclusion of liability (section 7), on changing, suspending or discontinuing the application without notice or compensation (section 9) and on the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts (section 10) do not apply: sections 7, 10 and 12 of these terms apply instead.

2. Service provider and seller of the payment

The service (the Kovo Player app, the NextWatch Pro subscription and its features) is provided by Code Family SAS, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with a share capital of 1 000 €, registered with the Versailles Trade and Companies Register under number 999 566 995, registered office: 76 rue de Vaucanson, 78420 Carrières-sur-Seine, France.
EU VAT number: FR26999566995.
Contact: contact@nextwatch.code-family.fr

The payment is sold and collected by Link (Sold Through Link, LLC, a Stripe group company), which acts as the merchant of record of the transaction. As such, Link charges your payment method, calculates, collects and remits VAT, issues receipts and invoices (purchase "Sold through Link"), sends the subscription emails, handles support requests about payments, refunds and payment disputes, and lets you manage your subscription on link.com. Your bank statement shows "LINK.COM*" followed by a Code Family SAS descriptor. The Link terms of sale (Sold Through Link Terms) apply to the payment.

Code Family SAS remains responsible for the service itself: its supply, its conformity and support on how it works.

3. The NextWatch Pro service

NextWatch Pro is a digital service tied to your NextWatch account. While the subscription is active (trial included), it gives access:

Without a subscription, you can install Kovo Player, add your servers, sync and browse your catalogue with its posters and details; playback needs the subscription. Files already downloaded stay playable after the subscription ends.

Kovo Player is only a player. It provides, sells and lists no channels, no programmes and no audiovisual content, and the NextWatch Pro subscription gives access to no content. Kovo Player only plays the sources you give it (an Xtream API compatible server), for which you alone are responsible: you agree to only use services and content you are entitled to use.

Technical requirements: a Mac running macOS 26 or later, with Apple Silicon or an Intel processor.

Subscribing requires a NextWatch account, to which the subscription is tied. Already a NextWatch Pro subscriber (on the web, in the App Store or in Google Play)? Just link your NextWatch account in Kovo Player: access unlocks without paying again. Check this before subscribing.

The web subscription is offered to consumers residing in the European Union.

4. Price and payment

Two plans are offered: monthly, €2.99 per month, and yearly, €19.99 per year, all taxes included (applicable VAT included). The price is shown in Kovo Player and on the payment page before any order; if the payment page shows it in another currency, the amount shown is the amount charged. After the free trial (section 5), the price is paid at the start of each period.

Payment methods: card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link, as offered by the payment page. Your payment data is processed by Link and Stripe; Code Family SAS never has access to it. Subscription entitlements are managed by RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., United States).

If a renewal payment fails, new attempts may be made over a few days; without payment, the subscription ends.

5. 7-day free trial

6. Subscribing

In Kovo Player, you choose the monthly or the yearly plan, then you are taken to the Link payment page. Before you confirm, the page shows the price, the length of the trial and the date of the first payment, and you accept these terms of sale.

The contract is concluded when you confirm the payment page, which starts the trial. By confirming, you ask for the service to start immediately, without waiting for the end of the withdrawal period (section 9). Link then sends you a confirmation email, then a receipt and an invoice for each payment. The terms of sale in force remain available at any time at https://kovoplayer.code-family.fr/en/cgv.html.

7. Term, renewal and price

Monthly plan: open-ended subscription, billed every month. You can cancel it at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month.

Yearly plan: subscription for one year, renewed automatically for one year at the current price until you cancel it. In accordance with article L. 215-1 of the French Consumer Code, a dedicated email, sent by Link on behalf of Code Family SAS, informs you no earlier than three months and no later than one month before the renewal date of that date and of your option not to renew. Without this information, you can cancel at any time from the renewal date and you are refunded the amounts paid for the remaining period.

Any price change is notified to you by email at least 30 days before it applies, at the next renewal; you can cancel before that date.

8. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time, in a few clicks, without giving a reason and at no cost:

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the trial or of the paid period: NextWatch Pro stays active until that date and no new payment is charged. The current period is not refunded, except when you exercise the right of withdrawal (section 9) or where the law provides otherwise.

Deleting your NextWatch account ends the web subscription. Deleting your Link account also ends the subscriptions paid with that account.

9. Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days from subscribing (start of the trial) to withdraw, without giving any reason and at no cost (articles L. 221-18 and following of the French Consumer Code).

Withdrawal function: during this period, use the button below. It opens a form where you enter your name, the email address used for the purchase and, if you have it, the order identifier shown in the Link email, then you confirm your withdrawal. We acknowledge receipt of your withdrawal without delay, by email.

Withdraw from contract here

You can also send us any unambiguous statement, for example the form below, by email to contact@nextwatch.code-family.fr. Link, which also applies the statutory cooling-off periods, accepts refund requests on that basis too: contact Link support and mention "cooling off period".

Exception: under article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for a service fully performed before the end of the withdrawal period. NextWatch Pro is a subscription to a continuous service, which is not fully performed during that period: you keep your right of withdrawal.

Effects: the subscription ends and the Pro features are turned off. Any payment is refunded no later than 14 days after we receive your decision, to the payment method used, through Link.

Withdrawal form (complete and return it only if you wish to withdraw):

10. Conformity and liability

You benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services (articles L. 224-25-12 and following of the French Consumer Code). If the service is defective, contact us: we will bring it into conformity or, failing that, refund you.

Code Family is not liable for the sources, channels and content you connect Kovo Player to, nor for the unavailability of third-party services (your IPTV provider, TMDB).

11. Personal data

The data needed for the subscription (email address, account identifier, plan, subscription status and dates) is processed under our privacy policy. Payment data is processed by Link and Stripe, as controllers, under the Link privacy policy.

12. Complaints and governing law

For any complaint about the service, write to contact@nextwatch.code-family.fr. For a question about a payment, billing or a refund, contact the support of Link, the merchant of record of the transaction: https://support.link.com/topics/sold-through-link.

These terms of sale are governed by French law, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence. Failing an amicable settlement, the dispute may be brought before the competent court.
